“One of the Greatest Dining Experiences We Have Ever Had”
They say the best things in life come when you least expect it. This is exactly the case with Sugarfish by Sushi Nozawa on Spring Street in New York. While we normally do local business spotlights for local businesses, this experience was one of the greatest dining experiences we have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Whether it is the service or most importantly the sushi, this is one dining experience you do not want to miss out on especially if you are in New York City.
What makes Sugarfish unique is that their menu. Their most popular menu items are their preset combination sets. They offer 3 options including a “Trust Me” option, “Trust Me/Lite'‘, and the “Nozawa Trust Me” (which is the most popular option) which happens to be significantly more affordable then the other higher end sushi restaurants. My guest and I both selected “The Nozawa Trust Me” option. As each plate was placed on our table, our mouths continue to water dish by dish. Unlike any other sushi establishment, the rice came out perfectly warm and the seaweed from the handrolls were perfectly crispy. Certain pieces had this incredible ponzu sauce which added a whole new layer to each piece. They also have a large variety of sake options which pair perfectly with their menu items. Did I mention the toro and the blue crab handrolls were easily the greatest handrolls I have ever had?
To summarize, Sugarfish by Sushi Nozawa on Spring Street in New York is hands down one of the greatest sushi experiences you can have in New York City. You will not be disappointed by any of the dishes. My suggestion is to definitely try one of the “Trust Me” options. Let the sushi chef pick because you want be let down. Each plate is an experience. With that being said Sugarfish by Sushi Nozawa is easily a MUST try.
